Classic Boats keeps going!

Following last year's success, the 16th International Classic Boat Show returns to Enkhuizen on 2, 3 and 4 November 2012. It is the only fair in Europe that combines shipbuilding, maintenance, restoration and conservation of classic and traditional boats.

For three full days, the Classic Boat Show is a THE place to be for professional and pleasure yachting; for skilled ship owners and dedicated enthusiasts of traditional yachts and crafts.

Why it is not to be missed!

The Classic Boat Show is the marketplace for ship builders, restorers, shipyards, brokers, skippers and organisations, offering a broad range of yachts, materials and services. Over 160 exhibitors provide a comprehensive overview of the trade. The Show is a beacon to beginners, a knowledge centre for ship owners, and a forum for professionals. More than a hundred yachts are on view.

The Classic Boat Show is popular because of its high standards, fine atmosphere, beautiful location, and small accessible organisation. Nearly all exhibitors return every year because the quality and feel result in a high return and because the Show attracts their specific target group.

The Show promotes the preservation of old and new traditional boats and the variety of crafts involved. Over the past 15 years the Classic Boat Show has earned its right of existence and has grown into the most influential forum for traditional boats in The Netherlands.

The increasing number of visitors and exhibtiors from Germany, Belgium, France, Scandinavia and the UK is evidence of its growing international popularity.

The show provides direct contact with five thousand potential customers. Our annual customer enquiry shows that the majority of our visitors are boat owners who attend the show for business purposes. The show offers excellent opportunities to network with colleagues, suppliers and other specialists. Maritime event-organisers gain inspiration and establish useful contacts at the Show.

This Show provides every opportunity for you to present your business at a professional stand with facilities for innovative demonstrations and events. You can participate, or make suggestions for seminars, forums and thematic meetings located on board a yacht. Please contact the organisers well in advance if you have special needs.

Exhibition area

The Classic Boat Show is located alongside the Gependam pier in the old port of Enkhuizen. Stands will be accommodated in heated exhibition halls. There is ample space for boats in tents, on the ground or in the splendid exhibition harbour.

• Facilities at the show include a restaurant, an auditorium/cinema and all other necessary amenities located on boats.

• As an exhibitor, you will receive a discount on admission tickets for your business associates.

• Your name will be mentioned on the web site for free.

• Your description and photo will be included in the list of exhibitors in a special Show edition of the magazine Spiegel der Zeilvaart.

• There is ample free parking space to accommodate exhibitors.

• The Gependam is within easy reach by public transport and is right next to the Enkhuizen rail and bus station.

• There is plenty of mooring space in Enkhuizen, so feel free to bring your own boat.

• Accommodation is available on board charter boats on the quayside and in hotels close to the boat show.
